I invited by a classmate to join Dine with Professions. I really didn’t expect anything at the time. The only thing I remember was the purpose of Dine with Professions: "Improve teacher-student relations and strengthen connections." It is something we have all thought about, but we have never make it into practice. Isn't it amazing? So did you join because you were interested in a specific topic? To be honest, I'm not join for specific issues, but rather that Dine with Professions made me see a lot of specific issues, which is a bit tricky, haha. Actually, there is no such thing as a "specific" here! All values are embraced, this open and diverse team culture attracts me the most. But Dine with Professions wasn’t your only option, right? Right, but after understanding what Dine with Professions is doing, I love the chemistry here. Before I committed to Dine with Professions, the extracurricular activities I attended were mostly related to my major, Dine With Professions opens up my curiosity on trying something different and world out of my comfort zone. You just mentioned the team work. Is it convenient to talk to us in detail? Oh oh okay, the core values of DWP are Integrity, Commitment and Partnership. This is also the key point that the founding member constantly emphasized when communicating with us. From the initial stage to the present, the business content of the team may have been slightly changed at different stages, but the truth is It can be seen from many aspects that DWP is indeed making progress towards these three items from beginning to end. In addition, the flat team allows no barriers to communication between partners, the ideas can be respected, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I found immerse passion on social sciences, work at here gave me a better understanding of business, communication, foreign languages, education and other fields. I am mainly responsible for the part of community management. Also, the team does not have strict hierarchies, so I have a lot of work experience in contact with different fields. The most impressed thing is that my imagination of "start up" has become more specific. Apart from that, is there anything else you want to share with you? The coolest thing about being a host is that I can participate in an unlimited number of parties. It is an opportunity to explore the unknown and discover myself. There is also the ability to inject the value of one's care into the DWP team. It is a very commendable thing, I am very grateful to be able to help in this amazing team. Dine with Professions was established in 2021, and the team took only few months to achieve: ​ ​ Inviting 50+ professors/professionals to join the project, launch the website, and obtain school administration and support from 4 colleges. ​ ​ Established long-term cooperation agreements with 2 cafes and dessert shops and National Chengchi University International Alumni Association. ​ More than 1,700 people joined our programs, with more than 70 online and offline gatherings held, and each post on Facebook reaches an average viewing of 8,000 people. ​ Our Future plan: ​ Cooperate with more companies and school administrative units to hold a series of programs, normalize online gatherings, and build more connections and a larger community between professionals and students from different universities and countries.
